About Event Photo Sharing Software with Face Recognition
A photo-sharing app for event photographers. Upload the photos from a wedding, a college convocation or an office celebration, share one link or QR code, and each guest takes a selfie and gets back only the photos they are in — instead of scrolling through hundreds of pictures of other people. Faces are found on your own computer as the photos upload: drop in a whole folder and watch each face being boxed, with group shots checked section by section so the back row is found too. Guests search from their phone's camera or a photo from their gallery; their selfie stays on the phone and only a face signature is sent to find their photos. Close matches are shown separately as "Might be you", and how strict matching is can be set per event. Share each event by link, an 8-character code, WhatsApp or a print-ready QR poster made for you. Ask guests for their name and phone number — optional or required — and you get a contact list of everyone who came, exportable as CSV. Lock private events with a PIN, set a closing date, and have face data deleted automatically when an event closes. Guests can ask for a photo of them to be taken down, and you take it down in one click. Photos can be kept on this server (up to 30 MB in total — enough to try it out) or, for real events, on your own storage: Cloudflare R2, Amazon S3, Backblaze B2, Wasabi, DigitalOcean Spaces or MinIO, with photos going straight from your computer to it. Your name, logo and colours are on every page guests see.
