About this app

An ERP for iron and steel foundries and forge shops, run under your own name. (For machine shops and fabrication without a furnace, ERP for Engineering is the closer fit.) Each grade you pour has its chemistry and test-bar ranges. A heat issues its charge by weight (pig iron, steel scrap, your own returns and ferro-alloys, filled from the grade's recipe) and taps the liquid metal: the melt loss is worked out for every heat, and the metal carries the whole cost of the charge. Spectro readings and the test bar are checked against the grade. Castings poured from the heat are received with the heat number as their batch, the rejects are recorded by defect, and runners, risers and broken rejects are weighed back as returns. Metal left in the ladle is pigged back. The heats board shows melt loss, casting yield and rejection for each heat; the rejection report puts the biggest cause first. The pattern register keeps each pattern, whose it is and the moulds it has made. A posted delivery prints a test certificate naming each heat with its chemistry and test bar. Each customer gets their own database, hosted and kept up to date by us.

Why buyers pick it

Every heat's melt loss and every casting's heat number, without a register on paper.
Rejections by cause, so the foundry fixes the biggest one first.
A test certificate for any delivery, from the lab's own readings.

  1. Material grades with chemistry and test-bar ranges, each making its own liquid-metal item
  2. Heats: the charge issued by weight, filled from the grade's recipe and changed to what was really charged
  3. Melt loss for every heatcharged against tapped, the tapped metal carrying the whole cost of the charge
  4. Spectro and test-bar results checked against the grade, a reading outside the range shown at once
  5. Castings poured from a heat received with the heat number as their batch
  6. Rejects recorded by defect, and runners, risers and broken rejects weighed back into stock as returns
  7. Metal left in the ladle pigged back as returns when the heat is closed
  8. Heats boardmelt loss, metal poured, casting yield and rejection for each heat and the period
  9. Rejections by defect with the biggest cause first, and each casting's rejection rate
  10. Pattern registerthe casting, cavities, whose pattern it is, where it is kept and moulds made against its life
  11. Test certificates for a deliveryeach heat with the specified and actual chemistry and test bar
  12. Machining and forging after the foundry as work orders with routing; sales, GST invoices, books, purchase and payroll

Restaurant Group POS: tables, kitchens, recipes and online orders for restaurant chains

  • Outlets with their kitchen stations and tables, one menu for every outlet with veg marks, calories and allergens, outlet prices from a date, and dishes sold out for the day.
  • Captains take orders at the table; each dish goes to its own kitchen station as a numbered KOT. The kitchen screen shows tickets oldest first and the captain sees what is ready to serve.
  • A dish already sent to the kitchen is cancelled only by a manager, with the reason and whether it was cooked. Tables move, merge and split, and the bill is paid at the counter with a GST invoice.
  • Every dish has a recipe: selling it draws its ingredients from the outlet's kitchen store, so food cost is known by outlet and by day. Wastage and staff meals are recorded with their reason.
